Provence wedding photographer
Refined, timeless wedding imagery, rooted in genuine human connection.
Originally known for wedding films, I now take on a limited number of wedding photography projects each year.
This approach is rooted in over 12 years of documenting weddings in Provence, the French Riviera and across international destinations. It follows the same principles as my films: emotion, light, and narrative continuity.
Photography is offered as a separate service, allowing full creative focus on one medium per wedding.

A different approach to wedding photography
Most wedding photography focuses on coverage and volume. My approach to Provence wedding photography is built on storytelling, rhythm, and emotional continuity. Each image is captured with intention, not repetition. The goal is not to accumulate thousands of images, but to create a coherent visual narrative where every moment has meaning and contributes to the story of your day. This results in a refined and timeless collection of photographs that feel natural, immersive, and deeply personal.
Provence wedding photographer with a narrative sensibility
As a Provence wedding photographer working across the South of France, I document weddings with a discreet and observational approach. My work is often sought by couples looking for wedding photographers in Provence who value authenticity and atmosphere. My approach is also shaped by a cinematic vision of photography, where light, composition, and visual storytelling play a central role. I focus on real interactions, natural light, emotional timing, composition and atmosphere. This creates a balance between documentary authenticity and editorial precision, with an aesthetic shaped by cinema, which defines my work as a Provence wedding photographer.

Wedding photography in Provence, French Riviera
Provence offers a distinctive environment for wedding photography, shaped by light, texture and landscape. This is why Provence wedding photography is known for its natural elegance and timeless atmosphere. From the soft tones of the Luberon to the structured scenery of the Alpilles, each location brings a specific visual identity. As a wedding photographer in Provence, I regularly work in:
-
- Gordes, Roussillon, Lourmarin
- Les Baux-de-Provence, Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
- Aix-en-Provence and surrounding estates
- the French Riviera, including Nice, Cannes and Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat
The region is known for its golden light, mineral textures and refined architecture, creating ideal conditions for natural, elegant and timeless imagery, often sought after in Provence wedding photography.
Documentary and editorial styles
Wedding photography can be approached through two complementary directions.
-
- Documentary coverage captures the day as it naturally unfolds, without staging or interruption. It focuses on genuine moments, subtle gestures, and the rhythm of real life.
- Editorial photography introduces a more structured visual language, inspired by fashion and cinema. It enhances composition, light, and presence, with minimal and thoughtful direction when needed.
Together, these approaches create a Provence wedding photography style that is both sincere and visually refined.
Recognised for a cinematic and narrative approach
My work has been recognised internationally through wedding filmmaking and featured on curated platforms dedicated to high-end and destination weddings. This experience directly informs my work as a Provence wedding photographer today, with a strong emphasis on:
-
- storytelling structure
- visual coherence
- emotional depth
- timeless aesthetics
