A destination wedding in Rome, Italy
Destination Wedding Videographer Rome
Even-though getting married in Italy is a super popular choice, these two lovers couldn’t miss this opportunity ! This beautiful couple from Geneva chose Rome and Villa Miani for their two-day dream destination wedding in Italy. They were 260 guests, coming from all over the world to share these precious moments with them.
I chose to cover this event with my super 2nd shooter Riccardo – wedding videographer Rome and the excellent drone operator Alessandro, both from Rome.
After getting ready at the Hotel St Regis, they took a van and went to one of the two beautiful side by side churches named Santa Maria dei Miracoli, Piazza del Popolo. Once the ceremony was complete, we made our way to Villa Miani for a big cocktail party outdoor where an aperitif of Italian white wine and sweet canapes were served on the terrace, set again a wonderful backdrop of the St. Peter’s Basilica. We moved into the villa where they were served traditional Italian food. (Oh god, I love mozzarella!) What a party they had after! They knew how to dance !!
The next day, we met everyone at Domus Borghese, a beautiful villa where they all savored the wonderful Italian food, they enjoyed mozzarella workshops, had a meat and fish bbq, coffee bar, and many other activities. And then guess what ? Party time again! What a wedding in this charming country !
I edited a 15minutes long film and a 3min. trailer. I’d like to share this 60sec. short version, just for you to get a feel of what I experienced.
